Rob Cummings is a Virginia Tech alumnus (Class of 1990) and co-founder of DealCloud, a deal management software platform used by over 2,000 M&A firms, which was acquired by Intapp in 2018. He previously served as Managing Director and CTO at Falfurrias Capital Partners, a Charlotte-based private equity firm, and held senior roles at PeopleSoft, J.D. Edwards, and other enterprise software companies. He retired from private equity in 2023 and now serves as an adjunct professor co-teaching Entrepreneurial Organizing in the MBA program at UNC Charlotte's Belk College of Business, while remaining active as an investor and advisor in the early-stage venture community.
