Andrew Keeler is a San Francisco mahjong enthusiast and teacher who has been instructing American and Hong Kong-style mah jongg in the Bay Area since 2015, earning the nickname 'Mister Mahjong.' He founded and runs the Bay Area Mahjong Meetup Group with over 1,800 members, organizing public drop-in games across San Francisco at venues like the Ferry Building and Union Square. Before focusing on mahjong, Keeler had a varied career as a newspaper reporter, freelance writer, sports bookie, and web designer, running his own agency called Keeler Kommunikations.
